90 Day Parts and Labor Warranty
All devices repaired or replacement devices returned to you are covered by a limited 90 Day Parts and Labor Warranty. The 90 Day coverage begins on the date our Shipping provider notes your repaired device was received by you. If within the 90 Day coverage, you submit a valid claim notifying The Repair Depot that the Covered Device has failed due to mechanical failure not caused by physical damage or misuse,
The Repair Depot will either:
- (i) repair the defect using new or refurbished parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or
- (ii) exchange the Covered Device with a replacement product that is new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability.
Your 90 Day coverage will be extended 1 additional day for each day the device is out of your hands during the Service period. Continuing coverage only applies to an operational or mechanical failure that is not caused by an accident from handling that is the result of an unexpected and unintentional external event (e.g. drops and liquid contact) that arises from your normal daily usage of the Covered Device as intended for such Covered Device. Coverage does not include (a) protection against normal wear and tear, theft, misplacement, reckless, abusive, willful or intentional conduct associated with handling and use of the Covered Device.
Abandoned Items: Abandoned Items will be recycled after 90 days if payment has not been received after repair or evaluation. This is the standard in the repair service industry. We will attempt to contact you to get your unit returned. If you have paid for the return shipping, it will be shipped back to you. If no payment has been made, it will become a recycled unit and will no longer be available for return shipment.
